They called me quickly after applying within a week. The first interview was a mass interview in a warehouse so dress appropriately. We had to take two more aptitude tests in addition to the two they sent you before you arrived. Then they conducted one on one interviews. They spent a lot of time telling you about the company (appeared very militaristic to me). Second interview were more specific questions and more about background. They are very concerned with personalities and people being a good fit for the company.

The process started with numbers testing in a conference room with several other applicants. There were 2 separate tests to show how well we could work with numbers. First was to match 2 columns of numbers to see if they matched one another. If so, put a check in the box to the right. If not, leave blank. The second was to insert the following two numbers in the sequence. This was a bit more difficult because you had to figure out the sequence, then enter the next two numbers in the sequence. After the testing process, we were left alone for about 5 minutes and then we were called for our individual interview with another person in another room.

The five minute interview was conducted by as HR assistant. She asked questions about my previous job. She talked about the cultute of working for the family owned company. Overall the questions were not difficult to answer. I was asked to take two test. Both tests dealt with numbers. I was given four minutes to complete each test. After two minutes the numbers set started to look the same to me.

Very HR involved -- testing etc that may not be applicable to the role you apply for. Have only dealt with HR personnel since the beginning of interview process. Long wait to hear back from company overall. Everyone has been very nice and cooperative but it's a large company so expect to wait to hear about a position.

Before the interview, I had to take several tests, including a sales test that had nothing to do with the job I was applying for. Though I spent a lot of time on them they were never mentioned during the interview. When I showed up for the interview, I took two timed number tests, which again were completely unrelated to the job I would be doing if hired. The interview itself was pretty short. The interviewer seemed unfamiliar with the job I was interviewing for and could not answer my questions about the position. There was no follow up at all, just a form email saying I was not selected. There were several other people in the waiting room and number testing room. The place seems to be an interview mill.

The day of the interview started with two timed basic numbers tests. Both tests were 4 minutes. The interview was conducted while touring the warehouse. She explained the training that would be received and some basic responsibilities of the job. The questions were very basic. She asked me the strength and weakness questions and why I wanted to work there. The interviewer was very nice and the interview seemed almost informal.

Very Easy Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Fri, 17 Jul 2015

Interviewed Nov 2014 in Pleasant Prairie, WI(took 5 days)
I applied online. Within a few days, I received a telephone call from someone in HR. At her request, I took a bunch of tests online at home. One of them, a writing test, was appropriate for the role. The others were salesmanship and personality tests. Once at Uline, I took at least two additional tests. One was based on mathematical series (e.g the Fibonacci sequence) and the other was a proofreading test. I then had a 30 minute interview with a very junior member of HR. Months later, I see that Uline is still interviewing and rejecting Corporate Attorney applicants using the same feckless process. I can't help thinking that Uline is not very serious about filling this position.

While I didn't have as negative experience as many of the other submissions, the assessments I was asked to take prior to the interview took approximately 4 hours and didn't correlate to the job I applied for. I was asked to do a Sales assessment although I was interviewing for Warehouse positions.

I received an email rejection letter from the company after I applied online. A few days later I received a call to interview in person with HR, they said the rejection letter was sent by error. First red flag. Before the in person interview you are required to complete four assessment tests online. When I arrived for the interview I had to take two more timed assessment tests. The interview with HR was very standard. They did inform me they have a strict dress code, skirts, dresses and hose for women. Are you kidding me? This isn't 1950. Very old school mentality.

Applied for an out of state position, to my surprise I was contacted the afternoon following when I submitted my resume, and was told that because I live out of state it should be no issue and I was given a phone interview. Before my interview, they emailed me a set of four different assessments to take. A writing question, sales questions (which made no sense as I was applying for a distribution center), personality test and general application question portion. When I was called, it felt very impersonal, just firing off questions with no follow ups. No questions about ME, mostly just about my past work experience. I wish I would've had a better experience here, as I feel this is what hurt my chances the most.

Difficult Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Wed, 22 Jul 2015

The process was typical and was tested same day as initial interview, expect timed tests math and office application testing, etc. It is recommended to wear a dress if female. I noticed all females were wearing a dress/skirt. After asking about this I was told it is "preferred" dress code. Not sure what is accomplished with this policy, may even be detrimental to the female work force. The HR rep asked typical questions. After interviewing with HR, the hiring manager was available and another interview ensued. Beware as this hiring manager used "consultant-ese" terminology that I wasn't prepared for.

Four on line assessments, on line application, hand written application, and 2 pre interview assessments in a group setting precede a face to face interview. Everybody very friendly, courteous and professional. Communication was clear that the right fit was preferred over a quick fit.

Phone contact, 4 online assessments, 2 In house assessments, Interview with HR. Very professional and friendly HR staff. Although I didn't advance in the interview process, I was extremely impressed with the Company and culture they seemed to foster. Highly recommend trying to work there. You can learn from their communication assessment and methodologies as well. I will just say one of the best HR departments I have run into.

The interview questions were good. However, I was not able to convey how my skillset would fit the position. Reflecting on the interview afterwards, the fault was my own.

Be prepared to do your homework, get the advanced work completed in a timely fashion. Read the instructions! Writing test, personality test (myers-briggs) etc. Once you go through this screening process they may invite you to an interview. Offices very very nice / professional. Had to do math problem quiz, couple different timed tests" and then you wait for the actual interview. They are quick to respond - you are in or you are out. Not sure what the correct answers / what they are really looking for.

Interviewed null -1(took 14 days)
Casual one on one half-hour interview, however several tests and assessments required prior to the interview, in addition to a few speed tests upon arrival to the interview. Seem to be looking for very specific people, and if you do not match exactly, you will not be considered. Basic questions were asked, but also seemed to want specific answers. Every answer recorded on a notebook by the interviewer. Entire process roughly two weeks- Scheduled interview a week after initial contact, and a 5 day wait to hear back.

There is just something OFF about this company. They post these easy jobs with very high rates of pay. When they call you after you apply (usually the day of)...they make you take these tests that a 3rd grade could pass. And their interviews are group interviews with a bunch of people who applied for the same (nonexistent) job. People who would be driving forklifts are in the same group as people there for a manager position. Lol pathetic They NEVER hire anyone for these positions. I am sure there are no open positions...yet they're posted all the time all over the web. I believe they are scamming people for their information or something.

Extensive interview process they just don't want anyone but they are willing to invest in you as long as you have the potential. You need to make sure you show why you should be there and need to make sure you stand out from to make a difference and be the choice they are looking for. Just like any other job but had to go through around 5 different stages to be able to get the job
