Interviewed Aug 2015 in Auburn, WA(took 3 days)
Better have the clean-cut all-american look for this job. After my interview I had to make a few calls from my vehicle in the company parking lot. Every employee that walked by fit the same description. Young, no tattoos, no piercings, hipster hairstyles. Good luck.

Interviewed null -1 in Apodaca(took 30 days)
Many formats and applicarions to fill before the interview. Once arrived to interview I was put in a room to fill out a generic test designed for data entry clerks, and useless for managerial positions. This shows the HR manager does not have a clue on what she is doing. Interview was like 5 minutes long. Generic questions.

Did some personality tests prior to the actual one on one interview. I guess they wanted to see what type of person you are. Had to do some timed pattern assignments to see how you are with numbers once you are at Uline doing the interview.

As others said, begins with quick tests. Very easy. After that, people are taken for interview. Review the questions on this site since it is pretty close to what I was asked. I received a letter saying they were impressed but do not have a position open. I think this company provides practice interview for when you want to find a company that is really serious about hiring.

Interviewed Feb 2015 in Pleasant Prairie, WI(took 14 days)
The interview process went as such: a corporate recruiter conducted an in-person interview. After he decided I was a good candidate, he set up consecutive interviews with who would be my two managers and the department director. Before my second round of interviews, I completed timed tests. One of them was a sort of Wonderlic test and the other was a test in which I was asked to verify if two sets of numbers were the same. All of the interviews were relatively casual, and the people who interviewed me made me want the job even more.

Easy Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Wed, 26 Aug 2015

Interviewed Aug 2015 in Pleasant Prairie, WI
Something isn’t right, especially as I now read other reviews. I’ve interviewed with this company more than once. Recently and several years ago. It does seem, as others have said, that the interview is more of a practice. Whether it’s a practice for their HR people or those of us looking to procure employment, I don’t know. The norm these days is to conduct a phone screen, to at least weed out those that don’t have the base qualifications for the role. It would have been helpful for me since I was told I didn’t meet the qualifications of the role I applied for, yet based on the job description, I did. I pointed this out to the interviewer and the response was that he didn’t object to my applying for the role. Whether it was just to appease me, he said they often conduct investigative interviews and create roles from that..?.. I really felt my time was wasted and it didn’t need to be. I don’t have a good feeling about the place so I’m not bothered about not moving forward but I am bothered by their process and those others who will be affected by their time being wasted. That’s my only motivation for offering feedback on my experience. It’s interesting that out of 367 interview reviews there are only 36 accepted offers. Think twice.

Interviewed Feb 2015 in Brampton, ON(took 14 days)
Got a response the following week after my application online. There was no communication over the phone (email only) and was required to do several different items: 1) A generic personality test. They are obviously looking for a "specific" type of employee (more on that below). The test can be found on human metrics dot com (Jung Typology). 15 minutes of your time. 2) A test on sales concepts and terms. Now most likely 99% of all applicants will have no idea what the answers are. You are forced to do this sales test even if your position isn't remotely related to sales. Waste of complete time (but hey you'll learn 1 or 2 concepts about sales). Here's how you save time (they won't even mention this sales test in the interview): Google the answers. Save yourself the hour. 1 hour without solutions and less than 15 with the solutions. 3) Summarize a paragraph into key points. About 250 words in the paragraph - you can summarize it into 5-8 simple points. Not too difficult if you actually managed to pass high school English. About 10 - 15 minutes of your time. Before you actually get a response, you must do the three items above. The day after, I got a response to come into the office for an interview. They cramped all the people they interview into one room, from sales to warehousing to analyst and upper management positions (its awkward). From here, you are required to do two timed math tests: 1) Simple math (adding, multiplying etc.). You won't be able to finish it in time due to the sheer amount of questions. 2) Recognizing patterns. This is very possible to complete (I managed to finish). Here's great advice: if you get a pattern like 1 5 9 20 81 80 729 320 ___? Consider separating the first/third/fifth numbers from the second/fourth/sixth (the pattern is multiply by 9 and multiply by 4). Many of the questions are like this. Now after these two very short tests (a few minutes only), they'll call you in one-by-one to have an interview with the interviewer (once again, awkward waiting time ...). My interview wasn't too bad, I got interviewed by the person who was the previous analyst. Interview questions focused entirely on my resume and projects/ experience.

Very Difficult Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Thu, 3 Sep 2015

Interviewed Jun 2013 in Pleasant Prairie, WI(took 15 days)
First you have to go online and spend about 30-45 minutes on filling out more paperwork and character assessments. You get to the interview and spend another 15-30 minutes on testing. The woman who interviewed me was not friendly. She was very condescending and judgmental. I was extremely uncomfortable. She did not even try to make me feel comfortable or welcome.

Very Difficult Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Thu, 3 Sep 2015

Interviewed Aug 2015 in Pleasant Prairie, WI(took 28 days)
Phone interview process was pleasant. Feedback period was quick, even if the HR person didn't have a decision, she responded to update requests. Most companies make you wait for a decision. The first onsite interview was terrible! Company herded us into a room to complete timed Wonderlick assessments. This was in addition to online assessments completed online earlier in the process. These assessments have nothing to do with the job I applied to! I could see having computer programmers do a bit of programming, but these have no bearing on my skill set! Uline- if you even check your Glassdoor reviews here is some feedback: interview people for their skills. Assessments are garbage if they aren't job-related. I'm not even sure they are legal. I've interviewed/worked at Fortune 500 companies and they don't use them.

Difficult Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Mon, 7 Sep 2015

Interviewed Jul 2015 in Pleasant Prairie, WI(took 60 days)
After a brief phone interview I was required to complete two personality assessments and perform a timed math test. About five weeks later I was scheduled to meet with two Vice Presidents who took about an hour each to interview me. The contact between Uline and myself was extremely sporadic and the H.R. representative seemed clueless to the hiring process. After four weeks of me trying to communicate with both the V.P.'s and the hiring manager to find out the status of my application I received a form email saying that they were moving forwards with other candidates. The lack of communication and the overall interview process are among the worst I have experienced.

Easy Interview – Overall Neutral Experience – No – Tue, 8 Sep 2015

Interviewed Aug 2015(took 2 days)
The interview process was just as everyone on this site explained. They will call you the day of/ day after application for an interview. The day of the interview sat in a conference room with nine other people, took the two exams, and had an individual interview. The interview was pretty laid back and basic questions were asked. I was told by my interviewer that no prior call center experience is not a bad thing, and that most people don't have prior experience.

A day after I applied online I received a call scheduling me for an in-person interview. There were about 8 other candidates scheduled for the same time, and we were given 2 timed tests. One consisted of matching sets of numbers while the other one involved finding a pattern in a given sequence of numbers. After that, we were called individually to the interview.
